U-Bahn

Info on the loss of items on the underground

If you forget or lose items on the Underground and you have noticed straight away, please ask the driver of the next Underground train for help.
Of course, staff at the customer centres and Info Points will also help willingly. The Underground has a lost property office where lost items are kept until the next day. After that they are transferred to the city lost property office (see below).

Info on the loss of items on the bus and tram
If you forget or lose items on a MVG bus or tram and you have noticed straight away, please ask the driver of the next bus/tram for help. They will decide whether to inform the local MVG control centre and call for a search. Please use this service in serious cases only (e.g. for valuables, medicine or important documents etc.).

U6, Harras or Partnachplatz stops
Bus 134, Ortlerstraße stop
S7 and S27, Harras stop

Clear signs from the Underground or S-Bahn stops direct you to the city lost property office. It can also be reached in just a few minutes from Ortlerstraße bus stop.

Info on the loss of items at the Oktoberfest

During the Oktoberfest there is a branch of the city lost property office in the officials’ area of the Theresienwiese. All items lost in the area of the Oktoberfest are collected here.
